Happy Pit Boo Awareness Day!

Yesterday was Pit Boo Awareness Day and we went to the RALLY FOR HOPE at the Delaware SPCA! It was a motorcycle rally but I did not get to ride a hog even though I know the ladies wanted to see me in my leather chaps. Instead I went to the BBQ par-tay after the ride. I must say I did an excellent job of raising awareness, especially of my general awesomeness. I met many many friends including small children whose parents think I might eat their wee ones but I am totally gentle and nice and don't even knock them over with my big head. Here are some awesome friends:

I think this girl with the cow stuffie head was a zombie because she chewed on my jowls. True story.

Hubba hubba! This is Casper, the elderly greyhound. Her peeps were selling baby tees and greyhound coats! She was indifferent to me even when I offered to clean her nethers.

She spent most of her day relaxing. Smart lady!

Speaking of hot babes, this one came with the other rescue organizing the event, Companimals. She's wearing a Rally for Hope T-shirt, perhaps to keep me from her nethers.

And look at who I met! This is Narra. I'm good buds with her ape who was very nice and visited me on the regular while my ma ape was away this summer. She rocks as much as he does! We'll probably be besties because we have much in common because she is quite the athlete, just like me:

And her ape was selling some Art!

This bully boy is Ty, the resident boo-dog at the SPCA.

But the best part of the rally (other than ME) was BAR-B-QUE!!!

I hope you feel more aware already. I feel more hungry.

By the way, we will no longer be doing regular SPCA Saturdays here. Because they will have their own blog! Yeah, we're running an SPCA blog where we will share info about the dogs in residence! You can find it here. We'll let you know when we post things.

Not a Fair Fight

Ethel and I have been fighting the good fight for common sense and reason. NO PUPPIES. We of more advanced age do not need a young whippersnapper nipping at our heels. But how are we supposed to contend with THIS???




I might as well give up the snuggle ball now. Sigh.


P.S. These photos give the misleading impression that the pupster spends a great deal of time sleeping and not being a little busybody. This is not an accurate accounting of his time.

Wally's No Good Weekend

I had a terrible weekend, thanks for asking. I'll recap it. First, we had snow. But it was not enough to eat or play in, just enough to make it muddy enough so I have to get my undercarriage wiped when I come in.

And then in spite of the weather my ape went to the SPCA and these gross things were there.


And she thought it was ok to cheat on me with wee ickle puppies.


And then there were assorted failed attempts to get a Holiday Card photo.

The pictures did capture something of our spirit.


Some of us were humiliated.

Others of us maintained our dignity.


And then the worst EVER! Nebraska lost to Tex-ass by a mere 13-12 with a last minute field goal! Last weekend my Saskatchewan Roughriders lost after a last minute field goal! I curse the uprights!

I'm going to sleep through Monday and hope that Tuesday will bring better stuff.

SPCA Saturday (Sort of)

This Saturday it was TOO DAMP to take the dogs out to play or they would have enmuddied themselves so my ma ape just visited the dogs and looked at some of her favorites. She was very happy that LIZZIE TIZZY, ETHEL IMPERSONATOR got adopterated while she was there! Go Liz! And then there was...

JUGHEAD. He's not peeing in this photo, he just sits like a frog.

And the BABIES!

All of the other pups are 9 pounds. This guy is 12. I suspect he ate one of his siblings. He is a chub tub and, naturally, my ma ape's fave.

They all make funny faces when you pick them up.

Confused little beasties.
And even though it was raining Ty, SPCA Mascot, wanted to go skateboarding.



It was so damp it was more a combination of skating and surfing.


Now I am going to wish for the rain to GO AWAY.

All About Waylon

Hiyeeee! Welcome to the first and only blog by Waylon "Rat Boy" Pit Boo Puppy!

Wally didn't like me and I made his face do this! (See his eyebrows? Those are nervousboy eyebrows!)

I don't know why just cuz I did bitey bitey bitey cheeks! But Wally said I could blog about my BIG WEEKEND at his house which was TOTALLY FUNLIKE! Ok first here is part of my fam.

I had one brudder an four sissies all born at the SPCA! Here's me n' my brudder playin'.

Nomnom puppy playtime! I am on the bottom here.


Then I went to a new house and I am so brave that I like to explore everything.

And I like to put everything in my mouth! Here I am with a piece of ce-ment in my mouth.

And here I am eating a tree.

And I had two different kinds of favorite toys. I liked the toys that Wally's friends The Brat Pack sent. See?

And even though they got me lots and lots of expensive puppy toys my other favorite toy was PLASTIC BOTTLES! NOMNOM.


And then here's my other favorite toy OSCAR BEAN. He followed me everywhere and he loved to put me in his mouth and it was SO FUN.

The lady said I had MOXIE but I thought I got shots for that.


One of my OTHER favorite things to do was HUMP and here are some things that I humped: the naked apes, Ethel's legs, Oscar's legs, Oscar's butt, Oscar's tail, Wally's tail, feet, Wall-E, every stuffy I came in contact with, a pile of dirty clothes. You get the picture. Here I am checking out where I was GLUED SHUT after my neutering. I wanted to make sure nothin' bad happened after a particularly vigorous morning with Wall-E.



Here I am distracting the ma ape by blowing raspberries at the ma ape while I get ready to do a sneak attack on her foot. Should I nibble the toes or hump it? MAYBE BOTH!

Here I am in JAIL even though I only had ONE ACCIDENT because I put everything in my mouth and COULD NOT BE TRUSTED. Whatever. I have a plastic bottle and a stuffy.

But I am SO MAD I have to be in jail even though I have toys. I want the OscarToy on the outside!

At the new house I ate many tasty things like frozen applesauce, chicken necks, lambs, chicken livers, and frosty paws!

I like it!

More raspberries. Just cuz.

I am going to miss my best bud OscarToy. He gave me regular baths in his mouth.

But I am moving on to new exciting adventures!
