Wally's No Good Weekend

I had a terrible weekend, thanks for asking. I'll recap it. First, we had snow. But it was not enough to eat or play in, just enough to make it muddy enough so I have to get my undercarriage wiped when I come in.

And then in spite of the weather my ape went to the SPCA and these gross things were there.

And she thought it was ok to cheat on me with wee ickle puppies.

And then there were assorted failed attempts to get a Holiday Card photo.

The pictures did capture something of our spirit.

Some of us were humiliated.

Others of us maintained our dignity.

And then the worst EVER! Nebraska lost to Tex-ass by a mere 13-12 with a last minute field goal! Last weekend my Saskatchewan Roughriders lost after a last minute field goal! I curse the uprights!

Here is my sissy watching the last second of the game:

And here is my sissy showing what she would do if she ran into a Longhorn (or one of those lousy refs)

I'm going to sleep through Monday and hope that Tuesday will bring better stuff.

What a bummer of a weekend, Walls. But that snuggle bed sure looks nice. That pic is kind of making me consider a snuggle ball bed. Where did you get yours? If you want to bring it to the cottage in VT when you come visit me in January, that would be really great.

Wally-
Sorry about your weekend, my friend. I am also sad about your Huskers because TCU and Boise State ended up getting humped by the BCS in a way I had not anticipated as a result of Texas getting that call. You guys got robbed.

Hugs,
Sid

Wally: You are the only dog I know who can make a foofoo bow look dignified.

What a sh*t weekend! If it makes you feel any better, it's like MN cold here and I'm not getting any walkies. And I hurt my back, but it's not too bad because my mom had a stockpile of meds for me.

Oh crap Wally - You better delay your flight to Sunny So.Cal - cuz its p*ssing down rain here & windy! Thankfully you are a low profile vehicle & won't succumb to any wind damage - but your Sissy & Brudder might just topple over in the wind!

If it helps, I'll make sure your under carriage is massaged everytime its wiped clean from coming in doors...or you can just lay down & wipe it on the carpet...

Love & Licks,
Randi

That stinks Wally! The whole thing sounds horrific start to finish. You look positively forlorn lying there on your bed. Definitely turn the ferocious peppy sheppys on those Longhorns!
P.S. In this "who wore it best" you Definitely win! You somehow maintained your dignified manner in the face of such silliness!

Wally, you have no idea how bad a weekend it was. I got a tapeworm. Which meant I got dragged to the vet, subjected to all sorts of humiliating tests, my mother had to spend $400 that she could have spent on ME, and while I don't really care one way or another, as far as football goes...my mother is a Detroit Lions fan, need I say more.

On the plus side, the vet agreed to recommend that I be fed lean meat and rice for at least a week before it's back to dog food (after I threatened the vet with an exposé of her inhumane... incanine practices). My mom joins yours in the club of "vegeterians who know their butchers by name."
