Thank you.

Wally told us he would haunt us if we didn't take GOOD CARE of his FRIENDS. (Also he said NO CAPS LOCK or SCREAMING). So we wanted to say THANKS to all his friends for your kind words . We miss our little bossy bud and knowing he had so many friends means a lot to us. We were lucky he adopted us (as he frequently reminded us) and we're lucky he came with so many good pals.

Goodnight Wally.

We lost Wally this morning. He died in the only way Wally could, from having a heart that was just too big. We miss you, wubba.

See y'all in a bit. We might not be blogging for a little while.

Boys With Big Hearts

Bill Clinton had to go to the vet today to get treatment for his heart after chest pains. I have to go to the vet again tomorrow--after two days where we couldn't leave our house--because my heart is not getting better. I am, as they say, one sick puppy.

We have had some LOUSY weather here in Dela-Where that has trapped us in the house (and my ape with a shovel in her hand). The snow was so deep we almost lost the sheppys!

I have not been so sick that I can't do my part clearing the snow

Mmmmmmmm. Wudder Ice. (I do recommend avoiding the lemon ones).

And when I got filled up with snow I cleared some space by roaching.

I do look good in Nor'easter!

Birthdays and Haircuts!

First things first! Today is my Ape Onkel Eric's Burpday! I believe is around 2,947 years old. Hope you had a great one bud!

Now, other stuff. We have another storm coming (!!!?!??!) and my hotspot was not getting better so it was OFF to the VET! First they took my weight (and the scale wasn't properly zeroed--it read .4 BEFORE I got on!) and obviously I am DANGEROUSLY SKINNY. Horrible.

Here I am right before I crawled under the bench to hide. Dr. Bob had to look at my ganky head and take an EKG of my ticker.

My cardy-ologist says that I am the most AMAZING dog he's ever seen because I have the BIGGEST HEART he's ever seen. And that's not a metaphorical heart. I have a MONSTER TICKER. And the vet said I have a tacky-cardia. He showed my ape this picture:

I can't read Vet Language but I believe that means my tacky-cardia has grown a mullet and started collecting velvet paintings. So now I have to take a Slow Down Ticker! med. My ape hopes that will help me sleep through the night.

And then the vet gave me a hairs cut so I could put meds on my Hot Spot (not my bum):

It's my Punk Rock do--I'm so punk my mohawk is IN REVERSE. So I'd better do some thrashing to some local boys and their song Punk Rock Dog:

Do a little thrashing for me and my punk rock oldie Onkel! We'll travel round the world just you and me Punk Rock Dog!

Easy Like Sunday Morning!

Yesterday I was in a less than good mood about all this snow.

But today things are looking up!

It's not because the sheppys have become less insane.

Or less long-leggy agile and hard to keep up with than they were yesterday.

Especially after someone had the bright idea to get out their toys.

No, they're still hopeless.

But I have come to realize that when the weather is lousy, my ma ape can not be trolloping around at the SPCA with other dogs! Which means she has to play with us! So I decided, if you can't beat 'em, JOIN 'EM!

And you might think all I could do is watch.

But you would be wrong.

Wally always comes out on top!

That's just me, makin' some heat in the cold.
