Dogs on Telly!

Last weekend our ma ape abandoned us to go to the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear which was INSANE because what inspires sanity and/or fear more than US? Hmmm? Well, we knew she'd made a horrible error because this clearly was a rally meant for
us to usher in the Era of the Dog, in which we would finally rule over all the beasts with an iron paw. Instead, she forgot us and it ushered in the Era of the Rat. Or the turtle.

This week we got CONFIRMATION of the error from a very interesting source, Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, DFA! How could this segment of Tip of the Hat (the third one, not the feeling-up one or the gay Bert one) NOT be directed at us?

The Colbert ReportMon - Thurs 11:30pm / 10:30c
Tip/Wag - TSA, Bert & Dogs
Colbert Report Full Episodes2010 ElectionMarch to Keep Fear Alive

And then we saw this lil' story about Jon Stewart and pit boos! Remember THIS?

"What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull?" Stewart answered: "One is unfairly maligned despite evidence showing they are no worse than any other dogs, while the other is an an artificial demographic no better or worse than any other kind of mom."

Sanity Restored!

Voteration Day!

Hey! The gang is all here! It is a most exciting (and potentially most awful!) day! Time to vote! First we will tell you about the terrible awful thing our ma ape did.

She left behind this level of intense cuteness.

To go to Dee Cee to see these considerably LESS cute fellows.

She had the same idea as 200-some thousand other people!

Can you see the stage? Neither could she! But she did enjoy the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.
She did see some very interesting signs.

One of her most favorites.

Haha! Chicago Bears!

Some funnies.

And some most wordy but erudite signs:

But this one really spoke to us:

We would now like to give some predictions.

Otis predicts some people less qualified and intelligent than our tennis ball monkey will be elected.

Edgrr and Oscar are giving a visual representation of how they feel about some of the candidates.

And here Edgrr gives a visual representation of our nation during this election.

But at least we can say in Delawares:

Happy Wall-o-Weeeeeeeen!

Good eeeeeevning, Velcome to our home....

Beware: The inmates are in charge of the asylum.

And they are, indeed, BARKING MAD!

There be witches here in Delaware.

Some of us are brave enough to taste their brew.

Alas, poor Yorick, I chewed him well.

Poor guy, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Beware of tween vampires.

Are you scaaaaaaaared?
