I'm a Snooze Man

I became a bit concerned about the comments in our last blog post when many commenters mistook my obvious superior comportment for a lack of energy. I would just like to assure all my friends, especially the ladies, that I am quite spry for an old guy. Note how I feel the groove with my most large head which takes much energy to bob to the beat.

As this song by the nice fellow Rufus Thomas would imply, I am awake for at least 60 minutes a day.

About EDGRRRRRRRR

It is about time those olds let me blog! I have a lot to say ALL OF THE TIME. Here is a good picture of me. It is good because I am one little busy bee and I like to stay in motion. Buzz buzz. Let me buzz about my name.

Now you may be curious about the name Edgrr, especially as it was not on your menu of options. It was suggested by Ms. Sophie Brador who thinks knows I am cute as a button. LOOK! I am intense! (And slightly wonky eyed)

OK, GraNE suggested the name Owen Meany from this book because Owen was a sassy little dude AND his character was a reference to another literary little dude.

This one! The little boy from The Tim Drum with the voice that could shatter glass. And do you know what his name is?

OSSSSSSSSSSSSCAR!

So Owen Meany was perfect! But O-wen sounded a little bit too much O-tis. So when the ape said Oooooooo-wen!

Otis came running and I didn't! (The latter part is more about my inherent naughtiness and less to do with the name). So we went back to the drawing board and....

I'm kind of a talkative fellow.

So bossy I can command TWO sheppys at once!

And when I play and I'm happy I make a constant RRRR RRRR RRRR noise! And thus was ED GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR born! All around tuffy.

Occasional vampire (non-sparkly).

And all the time Otis admirer!

And now balance has been restored to the force! There are two EEEEEs and two OOOOOs.

ALARMING DEVELOPMENTS!

No, the development is not that the ma ape has hit the road with us and the corgi as FUGITIVES FROM THE LAW because she has decided to thieve him from the SPCA. No, I--Otis Potus--have made an alarming discovery. See, we thought the ma ape brought home a sweet little corgi puplet, a 15-pound slip of sweetness.

But, SEE!??!?? Do you see that devilish look in his eye?

And do you SEE the shark face of the little man on the right here?

Oh yes, I believe this is not a corgi atall. Our ma ape sometimes uses a cooking technique called reduction in which you cook and cook and cook out the liquid until you get down to a very concentrated, flavorful, small amount of the original liquid. I believe this corgi is a SHEPPY REDUCTION! A PINT-SIZED SUPER PEPPY SHEPPY!

Dog help us all!
He has launched himself (literally) into the shark-faced work of sheppy-dom with aplomb.

And has pwned OBST.

Love, and corgis, conquer all.

OBST is smitten and does not realize the great peril.

Of our own little Napolean.

But maybe OBST will recognize the threat before it is too late!

Though I'd say that ship has sailed. That's my snuggle ball (which he already peed on). And my antlers.

I must alert the world to the pint size peppy peril! First, I must remind you of my own alarming handsomeness.

CAN THIS PITTIE STOP THE PEMMIE PERIL???

Uh, dudes? Little help?

So...you know how your mama probably tells you that you shouldn't make funny faces or your face will stick that way?

You should probably listen to her.
