Boys Drool (Ethel ROOOLS)

This is ETHEL and I am SO OVER the testosteroney baloney at my house. TOO MANY BOY COOTIES. I shall demonstrate.

Boys eat like filthy messy uncouth hogs like this:

Or this.

Girls eat all civilized-like.

Boys play dumb foolish games like this.

And do foolish macho poses like this.

Girls do awesome feats of athletic prowess like this.

Wouldn't YOU rather be a girl? This is why I will be enjoying some MARCH MADNESS but not stupid boys but GIRLS!! Because the Nebraska Cornhuskers are seeded #1 in the Midwest bracket of their tourney! GO BIG RED! We'll show those boys a thing or two about b-ball!

March Madness!

Yes, it is March Madness. In April. No one has ever accused the apes of making a lot of sense. Anyway, March Madness is the BIG b-ball tournament. They start with 64 teams and end with two. And guess which two I picked?

This one:

And this one:

And guess which two teams are going to play in the final on Monday??? Darn tootin' it's MY TEAMS! One is the Kansass Jayhawks and the other one is the Memphis Tigers (who eat a lot of BBQ). This is one happy little dude! I win!

That's because last night I had to have friends over to watch the games and my lady Narra's person and a person belonging to a dog named Rousseau came over. And while I usually don't like dudes I was totally good. I didn't even growl! Even at the dude in the Michigan shirt! They did an excellent job bribing me with beefy jerky.

My ma ape made Marge-a-ritas. They are blue! For our teams! (But they're in Husker mugs lest we forget our REAL loyalties in REAL sports).

And we watched some B-ball (and or chewed on bones).

And by the time Kans-ass played I was exhausted so I went to sleep on my ma ape. I drooled all over her pants--HA!

I win the weekend!

Every Dog Has Its Day

Last weekend my ma ape abandoned me. Yesterday she went and sl*tted around with some SPCA dogs so today was WallyTime. So for breakie we had some chicken, apples n' oatmeal and it was time to kick up my heels

And enjoy the sunshine:

I had to pull myself up

Shake off the cobwebs

And head out for a little stroll to the field

I gave my sissy some catchin' lessons:

Important lessons like don't tip over backwards.

And keep your tongue under control.

It's a good thing we got outside for some perfect BLUE SKIES.

That's a good omen for the Memphis Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks who are playing b-ball today (not against each other--yet!) and who we're going to watch this afternoon. If they have any problems I am volunteering my sissy who has some mad b-ball skillz.

While I am much better at posting next to the springtime daffies. (Pippa--tell your mum this is the proper way to do flower pics--only with dogs in the frame!)

I hope to enjoy some B-ball and B-ball watchin' snacks this afternoon. Ahhhhh. A dog's life!
