My GranNE sent me this video--apes + dogs! And not those ugly naked apes either!




I told my ma ape that if she doesn't straighten up and fly right (ie, helping me blog, keeping me well-fed, and visiting my friends!) then I'm going to replace her with an orangutan. Who would be less hairy than her anyway! Ha!

Last week's vet visit was prompted by an incident in which I was glassy-eyed and disoriented. The vet couldn't find anything physically wrong but my ma ape saw something on the news today that she thinks might explain the whole incident.



Now she thinks I'm bogarting a stash.

Oscar on the Boob Toob??!?

I am concerned. I was sent this video by my bud Narra. I was excited because

1.) I like The Soup
2.) I do not like The Dog Whisperer

But watch the video carefully. It appears that before he moved in with us Oscar was a star of the small screen! A Norwegian War Hound!



Here's the funny thing--while they make fun of his techniques, they cut OUT the part where he puts a shock collar on Oscar and he promptly bites his owner! Don't tase me bro!

Here is Oscar, having vanquished the Canadian Goose my granNE sent us. What TV show will he turn up on next?

Dogs on my TeeVee

There's a charade of a TV show on called America's Greatest Dog. Obviously a charade because I'm sitting at home watching. I guess maybe a corgador transcends the category of dog. And/or it would ruin the suspense.

I'm rooting for this chick Ezzie (on the right):

She reminds me of my buddy Ike which means if there's a peeing on the rug contest, she's ace. That skateboarding bulldog is totes going to win.

But I do have to say--where are the mutts?

Dogs on TV!

Last night I watched this show on Nature called Dogs Who Changed the World. Number of interviews with me? ZERO? Obviously a fraud. But the second half is on tonight so we'll see what they have to say about me. It has some interesting stuff like an interview with this Swedish dude who thinks all dogs originated in East Asia (no wonder I have so many friends in Singapore and Malaysia!) And the lame humans needed us to populate arctic areas. And to domesticate other animals like sheeps and goats. So we pretty much have kept the human race going. Wait--is that a good thing?

Here's a cool map where you can see where the oldest dog breeds are from. There's no corgador but that's because the map is the oldest breeds, not the ALL TIME GREATEST.
