My Regularly Scheduled Health Crisis

That is how I am feeling.

I have a tendency to get sick around the holidays. One year I had spondy-losis and my back hurt and then I ate my whole sample pack of Rimadyl and spent almost 24 hours at the vet! Another year the vet detected an arrythmia at my checkup. Last year I had my first syncope (fainting spell). Right on schedule this year it was time for a vet checkup! I have been restless at night for several weeks and this morning I was feeling poorly. Off to see Dr. Teddy! I had some pictures taken of my heart and the diagnosis was: TOO ROMANTIC! Yes, my heart is so full of love it is taking up 2/3 of my chest cavity and it is causing fluid in my lungs.

So now I'm relaxing at home with some new pills. If I'm a little quiet it is just that I am supposed to get some rest. And also I'm supposed to eat one lamb leg every day. I'm pretty sure the vet said that.

Oh dear Wally. The holidays tend to have that effect on me too. I hope you are better soon. I will keep every finger and paw crossed until you are better.
p.s. definitely lamblegs are known to be a powerful home remedy. Like cupcakes for humans...

Hey Wally,

I really hope the medicine makes your heart well. I know what it is like to have heart problems.

Your heart is big and my heart is slow but both our hearts are good.

Don't let the crazy holidays make you crazy.

I love you man,

I always knew you were just a big hearted smoochie goof ball. So have you gotten your annual crisis out of the way and maybe mom can relax now?

I wonder if a lamb leg a day is a preventative. I will try running that by my mom because I would certainly enjoy one right about now.

Nice bow. Hehehe.

Dude, we send lots of "get wells" from Oregon. Make your Mum get you a bed like we got (check our blog) and then she can bring you your lamb leg so you can eat in bed. And tell her you need a flat screen TV and a personal massoooouse. Or is that mousse? Whatever.

Love, Dozer, Dottie and Cooper

Yes, Wally, please do rest up and get better quick, because my mom is out all the time these days doing Xmas shopping and giving final exams, which means I have tons of time to go online and read your blog! If necessary, let the sheppies post...although as writers they just lack a certain half-Corgi sensibility.
