A Letter to the Cornhuskers

Dear Huskers,

You all know that I am a football fan. And, in particular, I am a Cornhusker. And here is the face of a disappointed dog.

You lost. And you didn't just lose. You lost 76 to 39. To KANSAS. Now, no offense to Kansas but that is more points than Kansas scored in the entire decade of the 80s against the Huskers! (Ah, I remember it well).

So here is my yell-y coach face.

DUDES! You're embarrassing me! It's quite hard for me to trash talk when you are are stinking worse than my sissy's bum after a meal of pork and beans! So let's GET IT IN GEAR! You have TWO GAMES left. One against some goddamn wildcats and another against the Bail-postin' Buffaloes. WIN ONE FOR THE NIPPER! (I just gave myself that nickname because I nip things to herd them. Get it?)

Smoocheroonies,

Wally.

PS. I'm still available for that coaching job. But don't take too long. I hear the Philadelphia Eagles might be drawing up an offer for me, too.

Yousers~! I'd hate to be a Cornhusker & have you nipping at my bum today!

I'm learning lots about football from Coach Wally.....

My daddy was watching the Charger/Viking game & my mom was laughing all the way home..she knows nothing about football either, but since she's from Viking terrority, it was funny to watch her laugh...I guess the Viks won or something...

Love & Licks,
Randi

Dear Wally...my parents went to the University of Minnesota. Dad said they saw one winning football at home in four seasons. So they are used to humiliation. Nebraska will be back next year, and then they will know who their true fans are...and you will be right up front, huh?

I'm sorry your team lost and you're so frustrated, Wally! We know just what that's like seeing as my dad loves the NY Giants! Some years they just stink so bad but he never gives up on them!

Love ya lots,

Love that first photo. Do you have a little snaggle tooth going on on your right side? You're stinkin' cute, man!

The boy who house-sat me when my girl went to get my sissy went to the game yesterday. He was humiliated on behalf of the Hooskers it was so bad! Bummer man. They'd be smart to take you up on your offer!

Goob love & sympathy,
Stanley

No wonder they can't win, they haven't even contacted you. They deserve their poor record for not considering you for the coach.

Wally, How could anyone resist that first photo? They should be ashamed of themselves for letting you down. Don't they get it? Your the Wallyman. You're the master husker. Keep nipping those bums Wally. Sooner or later, they will feel that Wally passion.

Hi, Wally
Sure you really look disappointed! Sorry about your team. But, yes... its their fault. You should be their coach. What they are waiting for?
I hope you get a phone call soon!
Have a nice day

And I don't know what to say about those dirty birds...'cept, they stink.

Sherman (who will be eating crow tomorrow if those other dirty birds beat us tonight. Come to think of it...I'll eat crow. Bet they taste like chicken.)

You do look disappointed, Wally. Sorry they lost so bad.

In college football news, my Grandpa is really happy cuz the Ducks keep winning. I didn't know Ducks could play football. Hmmm...

Hey Wally
I don't know much about football (foodball sounds better), but I know all about losing. Here in Denver where the BoSox swept the Rockies.

Hey Sir Corgador,

We just devoted a whole post to a very sad USF (our human brother;s team)loss to the U of Cincinnati last Saturday. USF was flying high for a few weeks, then you know what happened.

Come visit. It's lonely here in South Florida, with all our pro teams at the very bottom of the heap. We need a corgador to spring back into action.

Woofs,

Jake and Just Harry
