The Origins of Evil
The NYT has an article about DNA tests they think show the origins of today's housecats go back 10,000 years to the Near East, around the same time grains were domesticated and cats were valuable for managing mice and rat populations. Here is a classic case of how "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" can go wrong. You befriend these goddamn cats in order to get rid of the rats. Now who will get rid of the cats! Couldn't we learn from this in our foreign policy?

As a rabid cat disliker (okay,I am afraid of cats, all cats). I do not understand what they are bred for.
Terriers can get rats, what are cats good for other than attacking moi.

OK, truthfully, you're an idiot.
You hate cats for no good reason. Cats don't hurt people unless abused, or in their mind in self-defense. I love dogs and own three of them. I own four cats as well. They get along. Obviously your only point in life is to lead the group of idiots.
Cats have done nothing to you. Perhaps you're allergic to them. Perhaps your dogs dislike them. Perhaps you've been in one awful situation and blamed the whole species. But everything you've done is irrational, and evil.
Cats aren't evil, and have saved the lives of over 30,000 humans in 2008. The cats only killed about 30 humans that year as well. You need to see these animals as heros, not as some idiots. You're just describing yourself. Imagine these cats, all of them, in the form of humans, but with the same mind. They would be kind, smart, enjoyable, etc. just like dogs. I love them both.
