Make a Wish!
This a.m. we went for walkies and we saw this! (Not this exactly as my ape is not coordinated enough to handle a camera with three dogs) Since you're supposed to make a wish when you see a shooting star I wished for another one of those lamb legs! My ape thinks that maybe I did not use my wish wisely but she's never had a lamb leg.

Mum got up at 1:15am to see if she could see the meteor shower but it being Oregon, there were clouds and rain. Glad you got to make your wish, we're still waitin' on getting ours in!

I forgot the shower was last night and now I am bummed. I definitely would have wished the same as Mango! With every one else wishing for you to feel better maybe it is ok for you to wish for Lamb legs!
Pawsonally, I think that is a good wish, but I bet I know what your Ma Ape wished for...it is the same thing I would have wished for...that you feel better!

You were smart to wish for a leg o' lambie, Walleye. We probably would have tried to chase the thing. (Let's see the servant try to hang on for THAT wild ride!)

Sorry I have been missing, my Ape is not even co-ordinated enought to help me write a dog blog, look after a family, and do the Christmas shopping.
Plus drink a few vinos along the way.......she is most uncoordinated in the extreme.

We get the Northern Lights here, but my J is not even co-ordinated at the time the show is on, to put her legs outta her bed!

That is the difference between us dogs and those apes. WE live in the moment and do NOT worry about future or past. Which makes us soooo much smarter, because all we have is NOW. Good wish dude. I'd ask if you'd share, but nahhhh. You have it(unless you just WANT a gorgeous plantenum blonde with legs up to there, NOT have a romantical dinner with you....)
