Ditzy Dogs
My bud Tuchuck sent me this article about how purebred dogs are getting dumber when they're being bred for looks and not brains.
Scientists in Sweden have found strong evidence that breeding for appearance has led to a decline in intelligence. Report author Kenth Svartberg, an ethologist from Stockholm University, said the changes had happened over the course of just a few generations. "Modern breeding practices are affecting the behaviour and mental abilities of pedigree breeds as well as their physical features," he said.

Your parents should get to take your brudder as a deduction on their taxes - I think he has a disability - no brain waves...sheesh! How could he let them take a picture like that? How embarressing!

Shepherd Pretzel recipe looks interesting. My girl says she doesn't have a bowl big enough to mix one up for me. Maybe that means I'll have to come to YOUR PLACE to have one. Mmmm mmmm!
The pups this week at the SPCA are particularly fetching, even that big guy. Does he have some Neopolitan Mastiff in him (maybe th chocolate and possibly strawberry in him)?

Well, I would certainly agree with you in regards to some relentlessly huge beasties that are so dumb they could drown in their water bowls. But surely you don't mean fine labraguys such as myself and Oscar.
