Stop Thief!
I got a new bed for Christmas. I also had a small bout of insomnia that led to me keeping the ma ape up all night trying to keep me from crying and pacing. I'm better now but I'm quite happy with the nighttime routine my sleep disorder spawned.
At nighttime my ma ape turns on a heating pad in the bottom of my bed and puts sissy's grammie blanket over it. Once I've done nesting in the blankie I settle in and my ma ape covers me with her French Soccer Team sweatshirt (Les Bleus!) Ahhhhhh. It's a dog's life. But how can a dog catch a few Zs when....
He's got a sissy who thinks it is a HOOT to steal his bed???
I guess I'll just have to sleep on the deflated soccer ball and computer cables. I wouldn't even treat a cat like this.

Yell out, ETHEL. Did you see that truck of tennis balls go by the house? She will be out of that bed in a split second and you will be on that warm pad and blankie.

well, Wally, my Jeannie who usually sleeps very well has been suffering from temporary insomnia, and after reading your post, she asks "can she come and live with you and sleep in your bed, your Mama certainly knows how to look after a guy!"
Your bedroom routine sounds just heavenly to her and to me.
And I agree, take Ethel's balls away from her, that should put a stop to her shenanigans.

I thought I was the only one who had the humans trained with the hot bed thingy. Mom & Dad have a heated mattress pad & I won't lay down & give Mom snuggles till she turns it on & gives me a fleecy blanket to sleep on. We rock, Wally!

Oh, My Poor Poor Wally! You look soo sad in that last pic with the deflated soccer ball...I have the solution...let your sissy have the bed & the heating pad & have your ma ape buy you an ELECTRIC BLANKET & just use HER BED! Bigger bed..bigger blanket & you'll be a warm little Wally...(little I mean as in stature...but you sure make up for it in ego & strength & smarts)..
Also..I find that SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS usually gets Ethel's attention...She has ADDD you know...Attention Deficit Doggie Disorder...
