Heat Wave!
It's too hot for dogs in fur coats! But there are new things in our house. An "Apple" but one my ma ape says I cannot eat. We will have to see about that. And also a freezer for US. My ma ape says we will put our meat in it. I think I might want to live in this freezer. It's cold, there's meat, what more does a dog need?

My mama finally made me some frosty paws and that helped with the heat a little!
wally and ethel: My sis E.Rabbit said they were passin' out in church like flies this morning. Wheweee....it is warm here, but it is a DRY heat.
Freezers are not a good idea for Wallys. Meat yes, but you might freeze your brain. Then where would the revolution be?

Oh Wally. It is nice and cool here today, but tomorrow it will be 81 degrees which is way too hot for any basset without AC.
Moms have two freezers and only a few dog bones are in one. The rest is full of blueberries which I prefer to pick myself.
Wally, tell your ma ape that she should look for a job in Barrow, AK.

We've had solid rain for the last two days and the dogs are fed up!
Ecchh...I HATE the heat. Mainly because it will kill me faster than most dogs. But I HATE the freezing cold, too.
I think I should become a snowbird and just have a winter home here in FL. and a summer home up north. Perfect!

It was hot here on Saturday, a high of 31C! I stayed indoors while mom and my hooman brother were doing yard work outside!
