Football Commentary

Our resident football experts are here to illustrate the stages of mourning after Nebraska's loss Saturday to They Who Shall Not Be Named.

Anger.

Resignation.
Despair.

So today we chewed on some Bevo Bones. It went a long way toward healing.

I'm sorry about your loss. I don't know much about college football. My human males watch the NFL. But my human brother's former band was once hired to play at an Alabama college thing after a big game. And Alabama lost. They said it was not a good gig. Not at all.

Oh, I almost came over here yesterday to tell you how sad I was. But then I thought maybe you needed some time alone. My mom and dad watched the game with a Nebraska fan furend and she went through all those faces and stages, too.

As Nebraska was playing Texas, we share your sorrow - even though we, like Mayziegal, are die-hard Sooner fans [whose team won their game :)] It just won't be the same after Nebraska bolts from the Big 12 to wherever they are going; so many time-honored rivalries will be lost.

The word verification to post this comment is "distr" which is short for Disaster, in't?
