We Win!

Guess what guys!??!? We're weiners winners! We won the POST OF THE MONTH at Dogs with Blogs!! We were the only nominees! WOOOOO! Landslide! We'd like to thank our buddy Mango Man (Oh Yeah!) who nominated us.

We have a theory about why Mango may have nominated us.

Separated at brindle birth?

I believe they weigh the exact same thing, though Mango appears to be a bit taller. Though we also think Otis may have another brindle brudder from another brindle mudder. When our ma ape lived in Belfast there was this show on called TFI Friday (What's the F, ma ape?) and they had a segment of fat celebrity lookalikes (here's a not very funny one.) We've always wondered if Otis was just a Fat Peanut?

Here's Peanut being held by his superduper strong dad. We're pretty sure that no matter how awesomely strong Peanut's dad is, Otis would break his back if he tried to lift the Chunk Tank. And while we are making fun of Otis here are some pictures of him falling off the couch while he sleeps because his head is SO HEAVY. Joe Stains asked us what is in that head that makes it so big and dense. We will investigate for you, Joe.

The only thing of which we can be certain is--it is not filled with brains:

Thank you to DWB and Mango for recognizing how well we work as a team!

congratulations guys. Say, do you guys (and Ethel) know Mayzie. She is another brindle who may also have been separated at birth. Except, well there is no nice way to say this, but she is prettier than Otis!

Yay! You deserve it. Tell ma ape to get a phone that you can actually do work on and she can update your blog while ehem (working).

Yippee! Congratulations! Do you suppose Otis' head is just filled up with muscle? Or maybe rocks? Hehe...I thinks he's just adorable no matter what!

Wow! Otis kind of looks like Tanner in that doofus face close up. I never thought of him as a chunky peanut, but I can see the resemblance now.

Brindle solidarity had nothing to do with it. Clearly your post was so superior that no other doggie dared to enter.

Oh yeah, about the falling off the couch... do NOT let them say it is your big old head. Stupid PeeWee falls off the couch all the time and he just has a wee little pointy head. That is why I stay off the couch. It is far too dangerous.

Slobbers (brindle rocks),
Mango

Otis is like a miniature Mango Man. I am very curious to know what you finding out about what's in his head. Whatever you find out, STINKY might have it too cause his head hangs off the bed too (well I do too, but that's all brain you know what I'm saying?).

His bed face is very funny and squeeshy looking!!! Mum said its "adorable".

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade

OMG Peanut sleeps with his head off the couch like that also. It is kind of scary to think they might be related. My dad could probably lift Otis but he might be in traction for awhile afterwards. Oh and Peanut's head is not filled with brains either.
Mom is finally helping us catch up on all the blogs we have missed.
