Football weekend!

After our smashing success with Thanksgiving dinner...

...we followed it up with a HUSKER WIN! No, a Husker DRUBBING of the Buffalos. 45-17 baby! It's enough to make a Potus roach with joy!

And this Sunday the ROUGHRIDERS are playing in the Grey Cup which would make the Saskatoonians the chompions of Canada! Me n' my gal Sophie are huge Rider fans. Mmmmhmmm.

I love them because they wear wallymelons on their heads! I will start hollowing out the wallymelons NOW! It's gonna take a big melon to fit on my melon.

Green is the colour,
Football is the game.
We're all together and winning is our aim,
so cheer us on through the sun and rain. Saskatchewan Roughriders is our name.

HERE WE COME, YOU CORNHUSKER YOU! Jed also has a huge grin on his face!

Jed the Boomer Sooner

& Abby who just wants someone from OK to win next weekend & will have to settle for OU.

PeeEss: We're a bit confused. When did Nebraska become part of Canada? And if you're Canadian, doesn't that mean OU wins the Big 12 Championship by default? And how do those Saskatchewan Roughriders play ice hockey with wallymelons on their heads? Isn't that all they play in Canada: ice hockey and that game where you sweep the ice with a broom and bowl with some big stone?

Oh, Otis! Can you believes it? Your Huskers and my Sooners meeting for one last hurrah before you all migrate to Canada or wherever it is that the Big 10/11/12 teams live.

It's Big Red vs. Big Red.
Brindle vs. Brindle.

WHO will come out the winner?
