Holy Dog!
MSNBC has this story about a dog at a Zen Buddhist temple in Japan who prays with the monks. The dog's name is Conan which was the name not only of a famous Barbarian but also of my ma ape's first dog (a corgi). It doesn't seem like a very Zen name.

Wally, I suppose it says to us that Zen is possible for anyone, regardless of their name or breeding. A corgi named Conan? That is too cute. I miss the Corgi Brothers from my old neighbourhood, although admittedly, one of the brothers was a sista.

Wow! That is a really cool trick! I wonder if I could learn to pray like that. When I have a accident I run under the bed & pray that daddy doesn't find me!
