a true athlete
while i am preparing for the super bowl this weekend i would like to pause and congratulate a true athlete, my good buddy amy m who has qualified for the olympics! she will knit herself into infamy with her socks. don't forget us, the little people/animals (and that's not a crack about my height)!

thanks, wally. i'll just be taking it one stitch at a time. you know, giving 110 percent.
by the way, there are now more athletes in the knitting olympics than the so-called "real" olympics in torino. over 2500 knitters will be pushing themselves to new extremes, and the list just keeps on growing. that's a whole lot o' socks (not to mention doggie sweaters).
