someone is auctioning 3 grams of "authentic rare unusual pembroke welsh corgi fur" on ebay.
why didn't i think of this first? there's at least three pounds of my fur in the carpet right now.

Apparently, there are places that you can send your dog fur to have it spun into yarn. It's at least somewhat popular for newfie owners.

an intriguing business opportunity. i bet my fur is worth more than heroin per gram. i'm pretty, you know.
How about this idea: we can start gathering your fur in preparation for the next knitting olympics. I'm sure your fur could make a beautiful and very loving sweater or scarf.
