in what may be related to the previously blogged item that reveals that humans n' chimps may have been closer than previously thought, it appears chimp attacks on their naked ape cousins are on the rise. this raises a question--is it the chimp in you naked apes that makes you the killer ape, or is it just the genetic residue of the killer ape in the chimps that makes them violent? in other words, does chimp violence ape human violence or does human violence ape the chimps?

I'm sure the conservatives will find some way to blame the media for this recent upsurge in chimp/naked ape violence.
and i cant hear rick santorum right now! the culture of permissiveness, symbolized by bill clinton, is surely to blame for the human-chimp pajama parties. gay marriage will surely lead to chimp on human action! we need a constitutional amendment! no gay chimp marriage!
if only chimps would take personal responsibility for their own actions instead of blaming humans (and their environmental encroachment) and asking for handouts.
Darn tootin'! These chimps need to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps! I'm sure Santorum sees this as a slippery slope covered with banana peels... First it's gay marriage, then it's Planet of the Apes all over again (the old movies, not Tim Burton's version).
And what about those darn glorified leftist breeding grounds, the universities! Think of all those university research chimps coming in contact with all of those liberal ideals. Recipe for disaster...
